What is Sonder?

Every single soul on this planet has a story. Many stories are unspoken, twisted together with secrets. Some are too precious to keep to yourself and some linger like ghosts from a lifetime ago.

Yet, it is in our human nature to share. When we share, we feel there is another shoulder to carry the burden or another’s lips to spread a smile on. When we share, we do not feel alone.

Sonder is a space to tell stories and confessions of love, life and you.

Our goal is capture the beauty of humanity. In the sum of our existence, there is whirlwind of stories, dreams and disasters that runs chaotic in the world.

Every person carries a universe within them - ambitions, friends, routines, worries, and inherited chaos - an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as a blur of traffic or a lighted window at dusk.

Everyone has a different story and everyone will experience today differently. This is your chance to tell your story.

How does it work?

Anyone can submit anything. Whether it be three words or a thousand. All submissions are anonymous.
